These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ManaLedger mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

ManaLedger lets you scan, identify, and manage Magic: The Gathering cards using your device's camera. The App provides card recognition, collection management, and data export features.

Magic: The Gathering is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast LLC. ManaLedger is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

4. Free and Paid Features

The features available in the free tier and the Mythic subscription may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove features, or introduce new paid features. Some features currently available for free may require a paid subscription in the future.

Where required by applicable law, we will inform you before material changes affecting pricing or feature access take effect. From time to time, promotional pricing or limited-time offers may be available.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

The Mythic subscription is billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

• Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you also agree to the terms of your respective app store.
• To cancel, go to your app store account settings. Cancellation stops your subscription from renewing at the next billing cycle. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current paid billing period.
• All payment processing is handled by Apple or Google. We do not directly process payments and do not have access to your full payment information.
• Refunds for purchases made through the app stores are generally subject to the respective store's refund policies and processes. You may contact Apple or Google directly to request a refund.
• Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have as a consumer, including rights related to refunds or cancellation under applicable law.

6. Card Data and Accuracy

Card recognition, pricing, and metadata are provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive for accuracy:

• Card detection may not always correctly identify a card.
• Price information is sourced from third-party services and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. It may not reflect current market values.
• Third-party data sources we rely on may change, become unavailable, or provide inaccurate data, which is outside our control.
• You should not rely solely on the App for buying or selling decisions.

7. Your Data

Your card and collection data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your data. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for data loss due to device failure, app uninstallation, or other causes.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to interfere with the App's functionality or security.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and card detection technology, is the intellectual property of Moritz Habegger. Card images and data are the property of their respective owners (Wizards of the Coast, Scryfall, etc.).

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Card recognition will always be accurate.
• Price data or third-party content will be current, complete, or accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on card data or pricing provided by the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total subscription fees you have actually paid in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CHF 100. This cap does not apply to claims arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence on our part.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For ordinary updates, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

For material changes — such as changes to subscription terms, pricing, or your rights — we will provide reasonable notice (for example, through the App or by email) where required by applicable law. If you do not agree with material changes, you may stop using the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence that may apply.

16. General

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
