ManaLedger ("the App") is a mobile application for detecting and managing Magic: The Gathering cards. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

The App is developed and operated by Moritz Habegger ("we", "us").

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Camera

The App uses your device camera to detect and identify Magic: The Gathering cards. Camera frames are processed on your device in real time. No images or video are stored, uploaded, or shared.

1.2 Card and Collection Data

When you scan cards, the App stores card details (name, set, price, etc.) and your collections locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can delete individual cards or entire collections at any time.

1.3 Error Reports

We use Sentry for crash reporting. When an error occurs, anonymous diagnostic data (device type, app version, error details) may be sent to Sentry. No personal data is collected.

1.4 Subscriptions

The App offers an optional paid subscription ("Mythic") managed through RevenueCat. All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — we do not have access to your payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

Card recognition: Camera frames are analyzed to identify cards — processed entirely on your device.
Collection management: Your scanned cards and collections are stored locally so you can browse, organize, and export them.
App stability: Crash reports help us identify and fix bugs.
Subscriptions: To verify your subscription status and unlock premium features.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

All card and collection data is stored locally on your device. The App does not use cloud storage or remote databases. All network communication is encrypted via HTTPS.

5. Data Retention

Your card and collection data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Crash reports sent to Sentry are retained according to Sentry's retention policy. Subscription data is managed by RevenueCat for the duration of your subscription.

6. Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You can view or delete your cards and collections at any time within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all local data. Camera permissions can be revoked through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
